Q: How good pressure resistance has your parquet, for example if you go with heels over or if we mount the parquet in public spaces like example. cafe, shops or restaurants where many people go daily where it will be exposed to much stress and wear.2015-08-11T09:21:29+08:00

Actually this is a difficult questions. This called the impact resistance of the flooring. It is normally depends on both “Hardness” and “wear-resistance”.
1. Hardness
a. The hardness of the floor also depends on the wood itself. There is a “Janka harness” for each species. For example, The Oak is 1360. (Not very hard, but O.K).
b. The hardness of the floor also related to the finish coating. UV lacquer coating is the best solution. The testing result we did proves that It can reach 2H.
2. Wear-resistance
Technically, The abrasion of our floor is >2000(WR1) according to: EN 14354 – D.
According to our warranty file, you will see our floor will not to wear through or separate at least 3 years in commercial or public area, and 25 years for home use.

Q: How do we control Moisture content for engineered wood flooring?2015-08-11T09:21:56+08:00

The moisture content of Engineered floor is normally 8+-2%, We use moisture tester. We do moisture test from the beginning to the end of production many times. When we are selecting veneers, after kiln dry, after gluing, and after coating before packing, we check the moisture all the time. And not only to the veneer, but also to the plywood. Only if the veneer and plywood moisture has reach a certain value, we can start glue and cold press.

A: 1)The Quarter Round molding is used to hide the expansion gap left around walls during installation.
2)The T- molding is used as a threshold in doorways or as a transition strip where the hardwood flooring meets floor or carpet of similar height. T-moldings can also be used to change the direction in which the floor is laid.
3)The Reducer molding is used as a transition from the height of the sub-floor to the height of the hardwood floor.
4)The Stair-nose molding is used to cover the front edge of a stair tread or step.
