How do we do flooring quality control?

The Quality Control of our Engineered wood flooring happens all the time in the factory:

flooring quality control

1. When we got the S4S dried timber, we will firstly check the grading/Size & Moisture.
If the size is not enough, we will sort them out.
If the grading is out of grading range, we sort them out.
If moisture is not good (not balance or high), we will put them back to klin dry.

2. We saw the timbers to veneer. we also checking the veneer situation.
We check the thickness of the rough veneer every 15 minutes. (to avoid machine problem, that the veneer is not same thick.)

We select out those banana shape veneer or cracking veneer, to cut them into short pcs or reject.
We sort out the veneer with sides knots, which can not be manufactured.

3. We doing Plywood testing.
The plywood have to be 8-10% moisture.
The plywood have to be flat & smooth.
Each layer have to be similar thick and <1.5mm
No overlapping & gaps.
We do formaldehyde testing for each batch of the plywood. Normally the result is E0 of our current plywood factory.

4. After pressing the veneer+plywood, we doing the random Impregnated peel test for each Batch.
We also check if the boards are bending or cupping over the standard, we will select them out.

5. We notch the pressed engineered timber to have T&G.
We check:
